This may sound a bit silly but, one of the things everyone struggles with is realizing just what they're worth. In life the way people treat you often impacts how you value yourself if you're used to being treated like shit you'll probably be content to be treated like shit the rest of your life because your self esteem and self worth will be low.

I've always had friends try to tell me that I needed to work on loving myself before loving someone else and that it turns out is some great advice but having someone who loves and values you can often help in restoring your confidence, rebuilding your self esteem, and just making you feel better. For a long time I didn't really have much self worth I was locked in a relationship where I was quite literally waiting to die and the bad thing is even a bad situation over time becomes your normal routine to the point that you don't realize just how bad it is.

Over the past year and a half with the help of my wife I've become an entirely new man one who values the things around me, wakes up every morning looking forward to the new day, and dreams bigger than ever. I'm no longer waiting to die and I'm now working on trying to stay around as long as I can to spend as much time as I can enjoying the life I have left.

I have those who don't like me just like everyone else and to them I say God bless because your opinions don't matter to me anymore and maybe one of these days you'll figure out that while you were minding my business and had your nose in my life you sadly missed your own.
